Approaching multi-wave projects differs slightly from the initial stages of project implementation, leading to a distinct methodology in utilizing SAP Activate for multi-wave projects compared to initial ones.

While Jan Musil eloquently outlines the process for initial implementations in his blog post SAP Activate in under 9 minutes, the approach for the second wave of the project requires a nuanced perspective.

In the multi-wave implementations, not all the steps from the initial implementation need to be reiterated, as certain tasks may be carried forward.

To accommodate this, the SAP Activate team has introduced a new tag known as the “2nd Wave Project / Rollout Project” in the SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition (3-system landscape) and SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition (2-system landscape) Roadmap.

To apply this tag, navigate to the SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition (3-system landscape), and SAP Activate for SAP S/4HANA Cloud, public edition (2-system landscape) Roadmap, and go to the Content Tab.
