Did you know that the ABAP Keyword Documentation provides a dedicated glossary for all things RAP? RAP stands for the ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model. We have done our best to collect all the terms related to RAP and explain them in a technically correct and consistent way, and in line with the official product names.

Here’s what it looks like:

While writing this blog post, we discovered a small bug: The alphabetical sorting is not quite correct, there are currently two terms in the wrong position. This bug has been fixed and the list will be alphabetically sorted, without any outliers, starting with release 2405.

This glossary is part of a larger project: We are currently developing domain-specific glossaries for the entire ABAP language. All terms that are currently listed in the ABAP glossary will be sorted into semantic lists per topic, for example, ABAP CDS, ABAP Dictionary, ABAP SQL, and so on.

The RAP glossary is constantly being updated, so stay tuned.
