Customers who have S/4HANA On-Premise gone alive can use API Management in Integration Suite to manage odata API in S/4HANA On-Premise. The tutorial Create an API Provider System
use Gateway Demo System which is different from customers’ actual situation. I will demo the steps of creating API Provider in API Management for S/4HANA On-Premise .

Prerequisites:

1. S/4HANA On-Premise has gone alive .

2. Have installed SAP Cloud Connector and configured it . Please make sure the SAP Cloud Connector registered in the BTP Subaccount which Integration suite  located .

3. The integration suite and Api management have been set up initially base on the document .

Steps:

1, Make sure  service catalogservice version 2 has been correctly configured in tcode /IWFND/MAINT_SERVICE  and download  client certificate of S/4HANA HTTPS server .

2. Upload S/4HANA https server client certificate into SAP Cloud Connector

3. Expose odata from S/4HANA On-Premise in SAP Cloud Connector .

4. Create API Provider in BTP integration Suite .

5. Create API Proxy for Business Partner API from S/4HANA On-Premise in BTP integration Suite .

6. Test API Proxy for Business Partner API from S/4HANA On-Premise in BTP integration Suite .
