Any chance for an open source release?

I've considered it, and don't think it's a good idea at the moment. IMHO having an open source version would lead to many private instances which wont help anyone (less users == less data).

Your opinion/suggestions would be appreciated.

Could someone pull data from Hex-Rays and push it into your server or vice versa?

Lumina uses the data present in your database, so if you pull data from Hex-Rays, switch servers and push to my server - then yes.
