We’re proud to have ranked at the top on protection, performance, and usability for the second time this year

During July and August 2021, AV-TEST continuously evaluated 19 business endpoint protection products using settings as provided by the vendor. They focused on realistic test scenarios and challenging the products against real-world threats.

Our team is proud to report that Avast Business received high marks and the Top Product label, as compared to business endpoint protection products from the other security vendors. This recognition comes after Avast Business received the same award earlier this year.

Each product tested by AV-TEST had to demonstrate its capabilities using all components and protection layers. AV-TEST used the most current, publicly available version of each product for the testing. Each vendor was allowed to update themselves at any time and query their in-the-cloud services. 

Avast Business Antivirus Pro Plus received a 100% score in:

• Protection against zero-day malware attacks from 303 samples, inclusive of web and email threats.
• The detection of widespread and prevalent malware, discovered in the last four weeks of testing using a total of 18,402 samples. 

As an independent lab focused on IT security testing, AV-TEST guarantees quality assurance and accurate comparisons from testing all internationally relevant IT security products. The Institute boasts one of the largest collections of digital malware samples in the world, ensuring that its product tests are state-of-the-art and uninfluenced by third parties.
